Issue: Clipboard edit and spell-check issues

Better Faster Clipboard uses ComponentOne's Editor for WinForms tool for rich-text / HTML editing. It also uses ComponentOne's SpellChecker for Winforms. ComponentOne's Forum is the best source for clipboard editing and spell-checking support (since Better Faster Solutions does own this editor).

Issues

The below list are some known issues (but not all issues with the editor):

• Highlighting text and selecting font changes it in editor, but new font setting doesn't appear on paste.
• Carriage return (pressing Enter) does a double line break instead of single line spacing.
• Page and table background images display in editor, but don't display in Outlook email on paste (Outlook client doesn't support background images).

Resolution

Most formatting issues can be resolved by clicking Source View <> toolbar button to edit the HTML directly, and then switch back to Design View. ComponentOne's Support Forum is the best source for issues when editing clipboards:
